Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are celebrating their love story!
The former talk show host, 67, shared a beautiful shadowy selfie of herself and her 52-year-old retired actress wife via Instagram on Thursday, March 20. She captioned the shot, which was taken at sunset, “20 years together. Happy to be with you everywhere and always.”
The pair also celebrated their two-decades-long relationship back in December when DeGeneres shared a heartfelt tribute to her love.
“20 years ago today we began this relationship not realizing what a long beautiful adventure this would be,” she began the caption of the Dec. 1 Instagram post. “You are the best thing that ever happened in my life. You take care of me. You help me see the good in everything. You help to guide me and pick me up when I feel off or down.”

The moving caption accompanied a snap of the longtime duo cozying up to each other at their new home in the English countryside, where they relocated in fall 2024.
The gushing tribute also called de Rossi a “beautiful soul,” and continued, “My wife. My best friend. The love of my life. Thank you for being you and loving me.”
The comedian also joked about looking forward to her first “snowy Christmas” with the former Ally McBeal star in England. And, reassuring fans that their new home had not fallen foul of storms that hit the U.K. in December, DeGeneres’ caption concluded, “P.S. for those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood.”

The former talk show host, whose long-running eponymous series ended in May 2022, moved abroad after finding a house she fell in love with in the U.K. with a source confirming to PEOPLE in November that she and de Rossi had relocated to the Cotswolds.
“Ellen was in England house hunting at the beginning of October. She ended up finding a house that she loved and purchased it shortly after,” the source said.
During that month the pair were spotted at The Farmer’s Dog, a pub owned by the English TV presenter and journalist Jeremy Clarkson in the Cotswolds.
“They hung out with [Clarkson’s partner, actress] Lisa Hogan and James Blunt, and The Corrs performed at the pub,” the source added of their move.
The Cotswolds is favorite spot with U.K. celebrities – the Beckhams have a home there, as does Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley, the artist Damian Hirst, and former British Prime Minister David Cameron. King Charles’ estate Highgrove House is also located in the Cotswolds.
