The woman is another key witness at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial
A former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs contu testimony on the stand at the Bad Boy Records founder’s trial on Friday, May 30.
The employee, testifying under the pseudonym Mia, testified Thursday that Combs sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.
Mia was also asked about alleged physical assaults of Casandra “Cassie” Ventura that she said she witnessed.
Prosecutors continued with their direct examination of the former Combs employee before defense attorneys began cross-examination.
Combs is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, and has pleaded not guilty.
Trump Asked about Potentially Pardoning Diddy
If convicted, Combs could face up to life in prison.
During a press briefing reported by ABC News, President Donald Trump was asked if he would consider a pardon if the music mogul is convicted.
“I haven’t spoken to him for years,” Trump said. “I don’t know. I would certainly look at the facts. If I think someone was mistreated it wouldn’t matter whether they like me or don’t.”
Mia Says Diddy Reached Out to Her Following Cassie’s Lawsuit
Ventura’s lawsuit against Combs in November 2023 set off a wave of other lawsuits that followed and preceded the federal charges he now faces.
Mia testified that after Ventura sued Combs, his security guard D-Roc reached out and said that the music mogul missed her.
D-Roc told Mia that Combs really wanted to talk to her and suggested that she could say something publicly, she testified.
Not wanting to talk to Combs, Mia testified that she was was “terrified” and “had to come up with a game plan” on how to respond. She said she “played dumb because I didn’t want my life to be in danger.”
Eventually, Combs reached out directly, Mia said, and she responded by throwing her phone and running outside.
In December 2023, Mia said D-Roc messaged her again and said Combs wanted to talk.
“Oh my god it’s not going to stop,” she recalled thinking.
Mia said she believed Combs wanted D-Roc to contact her and make sure she wasn’t a threat.
Mia Says Diddy Threatened Her When Cassie Didn’t Answer Phone
Mia testified that Combs once threatened her job and life after Ventura declined to answer his calls.
The 2015 incident stemmed from Ventura having found out Combs had seen another woman during their relationship, Mia testified.
In a text to Combs’ chief of staff that was shown to the court, Mia wrote that her boss was “slurring and saying irrational things.”
She told the court she had night terrors as a result.
